Two projects were carried out here. The first was to link the Student Union building to that of University House with a multi-level open atrium. A new main entrance to the building was also created to give it more presence.

The second proj ect was to upgrade the remaining elevations of the building including upgrading the internal layouts and fitting out the Octagon which is used by the Student Union for music gigs. jhai carried out the Building Control function on these and many projects for the university.
